Ingredients
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3/4cup oats (80 grams)
  • 1cup Water
  • 2tsp chia seeds
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mash the peeled banana with a fork.
  2. Add the oats and chia seeds and stir them through the mashed banana.
  3. If you’re adding any powders for extra flavor (such as cocoa, protein powder, or cinnamon), you’ll want to mix those in at this stage, too.
  4. Add one cup of water and stir well. We usually add a splash more (just a tablespoon or so), but you’ll figure out your desired texture soon enough. You can always add more water in the morning.
  5. Place the bowl in the fridge for the oats to set overnight.
  6. Add toppings of your choice, try our two favorites out first if you like.
  7. Prefer warm porridge instead? Prepare this oat mixture in the morning and add boiling water. Your oats are ready to eat within minutes.
